The viking ships Drakkar
Did you know that the Vikings didn’t actually wear horned helmets, as is commonly believed? In this workshop, we’ll reveal this and many other interesting facts that you may not know about this ancient people. We’ll start with a treasure hunt through the exhibition and finish by making a model of a ‘drakkar’ – a Viking sailing ship – which you can take home as a souvenir. Fancy taking part?
Age: 4-11 years old (children, without adults)
Number of children: 15 per group
Duration: 90 minutes
Schedule: weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:00 to 13:30
Language: Saturdays in English and Sundays bilingual (Basque and Spanish)
Price (VAT included): €3.50/child. Free for Itsasmuseum family members. Reduced price of €2/child for members of the Gaztedi Kutxabank Plan and large families.
