Short guided tour of the permanent exhibition and Erain, our shipbuilding workshop
Activity: Do you know what shipbuilding is? Itsasmuseum invites you to learn about the craft of building and repairing wooden boats, an essential part of our maritime intangible heritage.
This activity offers a tour of Erain, the 20th-century riverside carpentry museum project in Bizkaia, to discover the exhibition and its working workshop.
Duration: 1 hour
Opening hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5.00 pm in dual language (Basque and Spanish); Wednesdays and Fridays (except on Friday 09/11/2026, when it will be held in Spanish) at 5.00 pm in English; Saturdays at 11.30 am in dual language; Sundays at 11.30 am in dual language and at 4.00 pm in English.

Guided tour of the Athletic Gabarra
Activity: A brief introduction and a tour of the vessel at the museum’s dock. Experience the thrill of a passion deeply rooted in its team and step aboard a harbour vessel that was a common sight on the Bilbao Estuary during its industrial era and has since become a true symbol.
Duration: 1 hour
Times: Saturdays from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
Language: Basque and Spanish
