Itsasmuseum hosts a photographic exhibition installed outside the museum with images of Jesús de Echebarria e Ibargüengoitia (Bilbao, 1882-1962), an excellent amateur photographer of the early twentieth century, promoted by Bilbao Port and Itsasmuseum with works from the archive of the Echebarria Muguertza family. These photographs are also included in a calendar that can be purchased at the ticket office.

The exhibition, installed outside Itsasmuseum, consists of more than a dozen images dated between 1911 and 1934, whose author, a pioneer of stereoscopic photography on glass plates, caught the attention of foreign publications that defined him as “one of the best amateur photography” of the State. This initiative, promoted by the Port Authority of Bilbao, is reflected in a calendar for the year 2023 that can be purchased at Itsasmuseum together with two tickets at a price of 7 euros, or independently at a price of 3 euros.
